Small UO Contingent to Run
at Beaver Classic
EUGENE, Ore. –
With most of the squad in preparations for next week’s Pacific-10
Championships (next Friday at 2:15 p.m. at Springfield Country Club), the
Oregon cross country teams will send a small contingent to the Beaver
Classic Saturday in Corvallis. The men will run sophomores Eric Dettman,
Matt Dettman, Isaac Stoutenburgh and David Bondi and seniors Vincent
D’Onofrio and A.J. Casteel. Oregon may also have some unattached men and
women participating in the race.
The
women’s competition is a six kilometer race that begins at 9:45 a.m.,
while the men’s eight-kilometer run begins at 10:45 a.m. The Beaver
Classic will be held in Corvallis’ Avery Park.

DIRECTIONS
From
Interstate-5 – Take HWY 34 to
Corvallis. Turn left on HWY 34/20 as you enter outskirts of Corvallis. Go
over overpass and turn left at next light (entrance to Avery Park).
From HWY 99W South of
Corvallis – Turn left at
second traffic light as you enter the outskirts of Corvallis (follow sign
to Avery Park).
